un:real estates is a showcase of some of the best digitally produced architecture films, on Wednesday 16th July, at Rich Mix on Bethnal Green Road, Shoreditch.

Digital architecture films are an increasingly important tool in the development and dissemination of architectural concepts and buildings.  They work like pop promo videos, providing broadcast content for TV and the internet and increasing global awareness of the architect and their projects. They can be the key to winning a commission and are excellent tools for creating dialogue with the public and stakeholders.

The variety of styles that film-makers use is increasing as access cost to equipment keep falling.  The quality of work has dramatically increased from blocky CGIs to sophisticated animation and live action films, with music and voice-overs.

With films from Squint Opera, Hopkins Architects, HOK Sport, Wilkinson Eyre and many more, un:realestates aims to give a taste of some of the best work being commissioned in London at the moment, at a FREE showcase screening in London's newest art centre, Rich Mix, along with a screening of the winning films for the Fresh Views 24 Hour London Short Film Competition.
